Artist Statement
I, like many others, moved from Los Angeles to Joshua Tree. This move has provided me with ample opportunity to explore my creativity. I have been able to stop and reflect. The desert is alive. Its life force has helped me to connect with dormant feelings within myself: hurt, loss, sorrow as well as hope, joy and love. There are no words. Through the images represented here, I wish to arouse the viewer to the place where s/he is able to experience, in some way, a portion of the intangible mysticism that emanates from the power of self-reflection.
